Dr. Couillard Invited to World Games in Poland

Our own Dr. Couillard, your Lakeville chiropractor at Lake Marion Chiropractic Center, is proud to have been invited to be part of the World Games Sports Medicine Team in Wroclaw, Poland, this summer and wanted to share his experience.

Participating in the World Games Professional Team

Most major sporting events set up a team of medical professionals to assist with the athletes to ensure their optimal health for competition. The medical teams examine athletes before games to make sure they are healthy enough to safely compete and provide services to help them avoid injuries. In addition, they are available during and after games, to assist with any injuries they may suffer. Their goal is to offer their comprehensive services to help make the games safer for the competitors.

It is an honor and privilege for an St. Paul chiropractor to be asked to be part of The World Games sports medicine team in Wroclaw, Poland, and Dr. Couillard was one of three Minnesota chiropractors who received an invitation. Dr. Couillard and his associates, Dr. Scott Mooring and Dr. Timothy Stark, are all prominent members of the Minnesota Chiropractic Association (MCA). "This is a tremendous honor, to travel across the ocean for this outstanding event, and to work with some of the finest athletes in the world representing the chiropractic profession in Minnesota," said Dr. Couillard.
